The short version
Seahorse Sanctuary collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no cookies beyond what the hosting technically requires. Your aquarium lives only on your device.
What the game stores
Your tank — its water chemistry, your seahorses, and your journal — is saved in your browser's or app's local storage, on your device only. It is never sent to us or anyone else. If you clear your browser data or delete the app, your tank is gone; there is no copy anywhere else.
What we don't do
We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal information to play. We don't run analytics or advertising. We don't sell or share data, because we don't have any.
Website hosting
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as the address your browser requests from) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to identify or track you.
The shop
The Sanctuary shop is a separate site run separately from the game. If you visit it, its own privacy policy applies there — the game itself never sends you to it or shares anything with it.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
